BSC Ontario Launches New Briggs Championship For 2026

The Briggs and Stratton Challenge Ontario — BSC Ontario — is officially launching for the 2026 season.

Partnering with RMC Ontario and hosted by the newly formed Tyco Motorsport Group, BSC Ontario has been built specifically for Briggs racing in Ontario with a focus on top-tier race weekends, strong organization and meaningful racer support.

Ontario has long produced some of the strongest Briggs racers in the country, and BSC Ontario was created to give those racers a championship platform built around competitive, fair and professionally run events.

The 2026 season will serve as the official launch year for the championship, featuring three major race weekends at some of Ontario’s top karting facilities:

  • Mosport Karting Centre – June 20-21
  • Toronto Motorsports Park – July 18-19
  • Hamilton Karting Complex – August 8-9 (Constructors Cuo)

BSC Ontario will utilize a two-day race format with full race day on each day, including:

  • Practice
  • Qualifying
  • Pre-Final
  • Final

The series is also launching with one of the largest prize packages in Canadian karting.

More than $70,000 in prizing has already been announced through partnerships with REV Performance Materials and several major industry and event partners, with additional announcements still to come throughout the season.

“We are beyond excited about this series,” said Danielle Duffy “Ontario has an incredible Briggs racing community, and RMC Ontario has been an amazing experience for Rotax racers and we wanted a way to extend that to Briggs racers.”

Additional announcements regarding registration, supplemental regulations, event schedules and partner programs will be released soon.
