Mosport Karting Centre Chosen To Host Opening Round Of BSC Ontario

BSC Ontario is excited to officially announce that Mosport Karting Centre will host the opening round of the inaugural 2026 championship season.

Long regarded as one of the premier karting facilities in Canada, Mosport provides the perfect setting to launch the new Briggs & Stratton Challenge Ontario championship.

From its elevation changes and flowing technical sections to its long straights and excellent passing opportunities, Mosport has built a reputation as one of the most exciting tracks in the country for both drivers and spectators alike.

As BSC Ontario began building the inaugural calendar, it became clear that starting the championship at Mosport was the right choice. Between the strength of the facility, the passionate Briggs community and the experience of the Mosport team in running major events, the track represents exactly the type of environment the series wants to build around.

Curtis Fox, General Manager at Mosport Karting Centre, shared his excitement about hosting the opening round:

“We are excited to be chosen for Round 1 of the BSC Series. Briggs racing has long been at the core of Mosport Karting and we are excited for our local racers to have this opportunity to be part of what should be another excellent championship.”

Round 1 of the BSC Ontario championship will take place June 20–21 at Mosport Karting Centre and is expected to attract a strong field of Briggs competitors from across Ontario.

Additional details regarding registration, practice schedules and event information will be announced soon.

The countdown to the inaugural BSC Ontario season has officially begun — and it all starts at Mosport.
