A race series is only as good as the tracks it races at.
Great tracks bring great racers — and great racers on great tracks produce great racing.
That mindset played a major role in building the inaugural BSC Ontario schedule. For year one, the goal was to create a championship calendar that challenged drivers in different ways while showcasing some of the best racing facilities in Ontario.
The result is a three-round championship featuring three very different circuits, each bringing its own style of racing and unique challenge.
Round 1 — Mosport Karting Centre
The 2026 BSC Ontario season opens at Mosport Karting Centre, a facility many consider one of the best kart tracks in the country.
Mosport combines major elevation changes with a strong mix of technical sections, long straights and multiple passing opportunities, making it a favourite for racers across all categories. The layout naturally lends itself well to Briggs racing and consistently produces exciting battles throughout the field.
As home to MIKA, Mosport also features one of the strongest local club racing communities in Ontario. Many of those drivers know the track extremely well, creating a unique challenge for visiting competitors — but one that many racers will be eager to take on.
Round 2 — Toronto Motorsports Park
Round two brings something entirely different.
Toronto Motorsports Park will host Briggs racing in a way that very few Ontario racers have experienced before, creating one of the biggest unknowns of the season.
TMP’s wide layout and long straights are expected to produce extremely close racing with high top speeds and plenty of drafting opportunities. Gear selection will likely become a major talking point throughout the weekend, while racecraft and timing will be critical in the battle for position.
With the potential for massive draft packs and last-lap runs to the line, this event could produce some of the closest racing of the season. Cayuga is already famous for drag racing, so it would only be fitting to see a few drag races to the finish line in Briggs competition as well.
Championship Finale — Constructors Cup At Hamilton Karting Complex
The championship concludes at Constructors Cup at Hamilton Karting Complex, a facility that has seen major development and investment over the past several years.
Since unveiling its redesigned circuit in 2023, Hamilton has continued to improve the facility every season. The track now features:
- extended curbing
- digital marshalling at every corner
- full corner camera coverage for officiating
- a newly paved grid area
- a layout designed to promote close, competitive racing
The facility’s reputation has quickly grown within Canadian karting and it is no surprise Hamilton has been selected to host three of the last four ASN Canadian Karting Championships.
With many drivers expected to use Constructors Cup as preparation for this year’s national championship, the final round of the BSC Ontario season is expected to bring an incredibly strong and competitive field.
One Championship. Three Completely Different Tests.
From Mosport’s elevation changes and technical flow, to the high-speed draft battles expected at TMP, to the polished race environment at Hamilton, the inaugural BSC Ontario championship will challenge drivers in multiple ways.
Three tracks. Three distinct challenges.
And one chance to become the inaugural BSC Ontario champion.
